Miss Christchurch New Zealand

In May this year Eyris were delighted to support Georgia Easter in pursuit of the Miss Universe, New Zealand crown.

Georgia was crowned Miss Christchurch in April 2011 and approached Eyris to commission a piece for donation to the charity auction. This year the pageant auction was in aid of the Canterbury Earthquake fund. Naturally, we were keen to help.

Working with Jacek Pawlowski, from the Blue Pearl Gallery, Colombo Street, Christchurch - a wonderful piece was designed and crafted. The Blue Pearl Gallery is situated within the earthquake red zone, so the cause was close to all our hearts.  Eyris donated a stunning 15mm Gem grade Eyris pearl in blue green for this very special piece. The pendant reached the highest price by 5x at the charity auction held on the 1st May 2011.
