 Eyris Blue Pearls - 'Gone Fishin'
In September 2011, Graeme Sinclair of Frontier Television (NZ) Ltd and Roger Beattie spent the day in and around Akaroa Harbour and the Blue Pearl Visitor Center on the wharf.
Christchurch Born Graeme came armed with camera, crew and a wealth of rich questions for Roger, covering aquaculture and conservation issues in New Zealand.
When visitng the Blue Pearl Center, Graeme was impressed by the "...Breathtaking..." quality of Eyris pearls once set by our master craftsmen; "It's not just about the blue pearl, it's what you do with it." he said.
We thoroughly enjoyed the resulting Episode 7 of Season 20 that was screened on the 3rd of December 2011 at primetime. The full programe can be viewed online via the TV On Demand website.
